Curtis Huey, Adventure Specialist, has spent the last five years working for the Colorado Outward Bound School in Moab, Utah, leading trips for youth and adults in the desert Southwest. A graduate of Eastern Washington University, he began working and teaching in the Outdoor Education program at the university. It was there he discovered his passion for the outdoors and education. After graduation he worked for the Colorado Outward Bound School in the summers and spent several winters working as Ski Patrol in Idaho where he utilized his Wilderness First Aid skills while sneaking in first tracks. In addition to Outward Bound, Curtis spent a season working with younger students in Hong Kong as an outdoor education instructor for an International school program. He is excited to join the DDE program. In his free time he builds outdoor gear and enjoys trying to discover unknown canyons in southern Utah.
