Julia Behringer, Second Grade Crew Leader, opened DDES in 2014. She has taught kindergarten, first grade and second grade. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Northern Colorado Center for Urban Education. Julia worked closely in elementary schools for over five years previous to DDES, three of which came under direct guidance from Susan Kempton. Julia found her passion for teaching at an early age, and her joy to help others learn stems directly from her strong family ties. When she is not teaching, she can be found working at the nearest coffee shop, jogging around the city, and attending various sporting events.
