EL Implementation Review
In the Spring of 2016 (the 3rd year review for DDES), DDES was review by El Education in five dimensions – curriculum, instruction, assessment, leadership, and culture/character. DDES exceeded the EL Year 3 target and also exceeded the year 4 target for EL Schools making us eligible to become a Credentialed EL school. We will begin that process in the Spring of 2017.
DPS Whole Child Learning Metric
DPS School SPF
Denver Public Schools has released a new School Performance Framework (SPF) this year that operates as a school quality measure and aligns with their goals for the district in the DPS 2020 Plan. Charters, though not traditional DPS Schools, participate in this rating system. A significant portion of the rating is based on student performance on the PARCC/CMAS standardized state test. DDES received a yellow rating on the 2015-2016 SPF. Click Here for the DDES SPF communication. Further breakdown by the district can be found Here.
