In TED, students will learn about the design process, experience hands-on engineering challenges, and will practice basic computer and typing skills. Students will learn about mechanical engineering as they design and create wind-powered machines, chemical engineering as they create a better play dough recipe, and agricultural engineering as they design their own hand pollinators. Many of these units are directly connected to expedition content and support a design thinking process that can be applied in many disciplines.
